I’m the Owner and Lead Makeup Artist here at Afterglo. I’m so glad you found us!

As someone who struggled with self-confidence from a young age, the beauty industry was something that always drew me in. In my earlier years, it was about ways to cover up. Ways to change the way I looked so I could feel comfortable in my skin. As I grew older (maybe a little wiser and definitely a LOT better at makeup), I came to realize that instead of covering myself up, I wanted to feel like myself. I wanted to enhance the features that made me, me. In doing so, I gained new self-confidence and an appreciation for who I truly am.

This discovery plays a HUGE part in how I go about working with my clients. My specialty is glowy, soft, airbrush makeup that enhances my client’s true beauty. My approach is less is more, and my goal is to not only have my clients looking their best, but feeling their most confident. If you don’t leave my chair feeling empowered, then I feel like I didn’t do my job well enough!

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and two children, listening to spooky/paranormal podcasts (bonus points to you if you tell me your favorite ghost story when you’re in my chair!), and reading whenever I get the chance!

This bridal team and studio has been my labor of love over the past year. I can’t express enough about how this is my passion. I feel so lucky and grateful for this phase of my career, and incredibly grateful for my team of artists!

Each of my independent artists are incredibly skilled and vetted by me personally (and I’m picky!). The Afterglo Artists (of Glo Getters, as I like to call them, hehe) all provide that seamless client experience for the beautiful brides and bridal parties I’m not available for.
